The Santorini mattress offers excellent moisture absorption and ventilation. If you get warm quickly at night, this mattress is really recommended! In addition, this mattress is suitable for people with a dust mite allergy as it is allergen-free. The mattress can support up to 120 kg per person and is approx. 25 cm high.
Cooltouch fabric
The core of the mattress consists of 18 cm pocket springs and is upholstered with cold foam. The sheathing of the mattress, which holds the filling in place, is known as the fabric. The fabric of this mattress is made from Cooltouch, a high-tech material made from a specially developed polyester fibre. This makes the fabric moisture-regulating, breathable, allergen-free and very comfortable.
Pocket springs
The great advantage of a pocket spring mattress is that the body support can be best regulated. The more springs per square metre, the better the support. This mattress has 300 springs per square metre and therefore offers medium-firm lying comfort. The pocket spring core mattress is characterised by a core of individually packed steel springs. These springs are packed in sleeves that are glued together. This allows the springs to move independently of each other and provides the best support for the body's pressure points.
Cold foam upholstery
Cold foam is particularly popular due to its pressure-relieving properties. The heavier parts of the body, such as the hips and shoulders, sink deeper into the mattress than the rest of the body. As a result, the spine remains straight and blood circulation remains optimal. Cold foam is also breathable and is excellent at absorbing moisture. The mattress has a 3 cm thick cold foam layer at both the top and bottom.
High correction capacity
Another major advantage of this material is its high correction capacity. The mattress adapts to the body so that it is sufficiently supported where it is needed. Cold foam also offers the best progressive counter-pressure (the more you press into the foam, the more counter-pressure it provides).
