The Santorini mattress offers excellent moisture absorption and ventilation. If you are sensitive to heat quickly at night, this mattress is really recommended! In addition, this mattress is suitable for house dust mite allergy sufferers as it is allergen-free. The mattress is designed for a load of up to 120 kg per person and has a height of approx. 25 cm.
Cooltouch cover
The core of the mattress consists of 18 cm pocket springs and is covered with cold foam. The cover that holds the filling in place is called the cover. The cover of this mattress is made of Cooltouch, a high-tech material made of specially developed polyester fibre. This makes the cover moisture-regulating, breathable, allergy-friendly and very comfortable.
Pocket spring core
The great advantage of a pocket spring mattress is that the body support can be optimally regulated. The more springs per m2, the better the support. This mattress has 300 springs per m2 and therefore offers medium-firm lying comfort. The pocket spring core mattress is characterised by a core of individually packed steel springs. These springs are packed in envelopes that are glued together. This allows the springs to move independently of each other and provides the best support for the body's pressure points.
Cold foam cover
Cold foam is particularly popular due to its pressure-relieving properties. The heavier areas of your body such as hips and shoulders sink deeper into the mattress than the rest of your body, keeping your spine straight and your circulation optimal. Cold foam is also breathable and excellent at absorbing moisture. The mattress has a 3 cm cold foam cover at the top and bottom.
Highly corrective properties
Another major advantage of this material is its highly corrective properties. The mattress adapts to the body so that it is adequately supported where it is needed. Cold foam also offers the best progressive counter-pressure (the more the foam material is pressed in, the more counter-pressure is generated).
